Looking down the twelfth the most obvious feature is the large stand of trees with a marker post to the left. Aiming over the trees is a brave option but most try to fade the ball past the marker and around the trees whilst avoiding the conifers bordering the practice ground. The fairway slopes towards the green but running the ball down may cause problems - just dropping over the wall on to the apron may leave you with little or no room to swing. An extremely steep slope through the back penalises those who fail to hold their pitch on the flat, circular green. |
