A favourite of many members this hole has been improved in recent years by the lateral water hazard just short of the sloping approach to the green. Driving past the dogleg right leaves a difficult choice of going over the stream or playing safe and laying up short. Overambition can land you in the pond to the right of the green or see you roll down to the first green or an adjacent bunker. The green, though large, is not difficult and the hole offers a reward for those with the courage to take on a tough shot. |
