OPEN GOLF EVENTS
Listed below are all the Open Events for West End Golf Club in 2013. We have introduced "on-line booking" for all our Open events. Please click on the "Open Competition" navigation link below and you will be taken through a simple 5 step programme which will allow you to choose your tee time, book in, make the required payment and take a copy of your booking, for your records.
We do want to see you at West End, so should you have any difficulties please telephone Steve Boustead on 01422 341878 Ext 1.
The Organising Committee would like to draw your attention to our OPEN Club rules, shown in the pdf opposite, which cover Dress and Handicap information, amongst others.
West End Golf Club Ltd. are pleased to announce that during Competitions in our 2013 Open Week - 29th June to 6th July - all events will have fantastic prizes for players obtaining a hole in one, (which you can enter on the day, for a small payment) on any of the six par 3 holes.
We look forward to seeing you at West End Golf Club, where you can be assured of a warm welcome, a course in excellent condition with fine dining in our restaurant and a well stocked bar to finish an excellent day's golf.
Whilst we do not normally require proof of handicap, it is expected that players will have a good understanding of the Rules and Etiquette of Golf. HANDICAP CERTIFICATES are expected from all players entering our OPEN Golf Events.
A minimum standard of smart casual dress is required in the club house at all times and a change from Golfing attire is expected. This dress excludes denim jeans, trainers, caps, tee shirts, golf waterproofs and all playing wear that has become damp or soiled during the course of play.
On the course players may not wear denim jeans and all players must wear golfing shoes. Shirts with logos other than badges and tee shirts are not allowed. Tailored shorts are allowed.
